Passion and Purpose: Fueling the Flame

So, you’ve been trying to figure out what you have been called to do for a while now right? You’ve been searching for the reason that The Creator sent you here. Your Purpose, this is what you are supposed to do for the people that are assigned to you. You have gifts that were given to you so that you can impact the life of someone else. You’re not supposed to keep them because they are not yours to keep.

You see others do it all of the time, and they make it look so easy, don’t they? So, what are they doing, what do they know that you don’t, or have that you don’t? It’s the passion they have for whatever it is that they are doing. It’s what will allow you to rediscover your purpose, and without it, you will never reach your fullest potential.

That’s why success keeps eluding you. Every time you get close to uncovering what you think your created to do, what your purpose is, something happens, and you end up back where you started, and the process leaves you depressed about your failure and anxious about what’s next.

Not this time though. It stops now, where you are now, this moment, right now.

Because this time you’re going to be armed with God’s grace if you take the time to get still and just listen. You will be lead in the right direction, and I have some tips that will help reignite the passion that will lead you to your purpose.

Most people that are filled with passion are also living their purpose and fulfilling their dreams. Living without passion is living without energy because that’s what it is. It’s what fuels your soul, and you begin to experience the power that comes with focusing on what really excites you and ignore the chatter around you.

It took me just about 30 years to decide that I needed to live on purpose. It took me all that time to reignite the flames of my passion so that I could pursue my calling. When I got back in touch with what excites me, what sends joyous chills down my spine, was when I rediscovered my purpose. I finally knew what God sent me to do, and the Universe shifted and wrapped me in its favor, and gave me all that I needed to complete my work. It was a long journey and there were many bumps, twists, and turns, but I learned a few things along the way:

Tip 1: Never ignore your intuition, the whispers that you hear only when you are still and quiet. Those are the whispers of The Most High pointing you in the right direction.

WARNING: NONE OF THIS WILL MATTER IF YOU DON’T TAKE ACTION!

Tip 2: Avoid all negativity at all times. It doesn’t matter what or who it is, you must protect your peace at all cost.

Tip 3: Pay attention to what excites you, what gives you chills, what you would fight for. That’s where your passion is, that’s what will lead you to your purpose.

As Marcus Buckingham once said "Passion isn't something that lives way up in the sky, in abstract dreams and hopes. It lives at ground level, in the specific details of what you're actually doing every day."
