Fifty And Fabulous!

So, I turned the big Five-Zero back in September 2022, and as I sit here and reflect on my life, I can't help but think about the pain that has led me to where I am today. Turning fifty was more than a milestone; it was a rite of passage that was both humbling and empowering. For women, It’s a time of deep reflection, spiritual awakening, and transformational growth. At least that’s what these last six months have been for me.

Looking back on every experience, heartbreak, mistake, broken dream, and triumph reminded me of the strength and resilience my Creator supplied me with. I realized that every obstacle I faced, no matter how big or small, was an opportunity for me to learn and grow stronger in preparation for today.

My path to this magically Divine space is filled with bumps and bruises, and I bear many scars. But through it all, I have learned patience, grace, the importance of maintaining my peace, and the power in reclaiming my time. At fifty, I finally know exactly what I want out of this life, and I won't accept anything less from any person, place, or thing. Oh, and you really can’t tell me shit now! I’m a grown-ass woman baby!

Womanhood is an art that is constantly evolving, with each passing year offering a new chapter in the story. It’s been one hell of a ride, and reaching the 50th year of my life was the most powerful of milestones. I now use every day to honor, celebrate and embrace the Divine Feminine me.

During all this reflection and introspection, I have taken stock of my life and what I want the rest of it to look like. I realized that I had been living for everyone else, and it was time to knock it off and start living for my damn self. I decided to let go of old patterns, behaviors, beliefs, and even people that no longer served me and moved on to new ones that did.

But turning fifty was not just about letting go of the past; it was also about looking forward to the future, to this bold next half, and I am excited about what lies ahead. I am grateful that I made it, and I have learned to trust my instincts, listen to my inner voice, and honor what she says to me. And now, I want to hear from others who have reached this incredible milestone.

I am looking for twenty women who would like to share what life at fifty and beyond looks like for them and what lessons they have to teach those who will come behind us all. If that’s you, let me know here.
