Birthday Thoughts

Updated: Jan 15, 2022

So, today I got to celebrate 49 years in this world. I woke up feeling lighter, calmer, and more at peace than I ever have in my time here. I went for a drive and stopped by the water to watch the sunrise and to give thanks for all I have when it hit me. I finally understood the true power that positive thoughts and affirmations, along with a grateful heart, have on my life.

I became transformed by God, and those thoughts and words I spoke daily, those I am statements, allowed me to completely shift my negative thoughts and actions so that I might receive the abundance of God's promise. And in turn, I can guide and support others through their process of self-discovery as they incorporate ease and flow and inner strength into their lives.

Improving Life through Positive Words

Words and statements have the power to build you up or to tear you down, but how you use them determines whether they harm you or encourage and inspire you to greatness. An example of this is using affirmations or statements that describe the outcome you desire and are repeated often. When repeated, they will cause your mind to create mental images that will influence your subconscious mind and transform your behavior, attitude, and ultimately your entire life.

Positive thoughts and affirmations can motivate you and keep you focused on your goals. They influence your subconscious mind and have the power to change the way you think and behave. Maintaining a positive outlook will make you more energetic, active, and encouraged, putting you in a better position to transform your inner and outer worlds.

For your affirmations to be most effective, they should be self-developed, intentional, and written or spoken in the present tense. For example, say “I am” not “I will be or I’m trying to be.” Affirm with love, faith, and conscious intent and believe that your desire has already been fulfilled. Here are a few examples of affirmations for you to build on:

· It is easy and simple to achieve success.

· Success is attractive to me and always seeks me.

· All the systems of my body are functioning perfectly.

· My body is infused with the energy of health.

· I am letting happiness manifest in my life.

· I deserve to be happy.

This list is not all-inclusive, but you can use them as the foundation for your own. Be sure to set aside a special time to repeat them to yourself, like in the morning while starting your day.

Write them down or repeat them in your mind wherever you are and never tell yourself that you don’t have time; you have the time.

It is natural for negativity to cloud your mind, especially if a negative environment surrounds you, but keep going and building your self-love and self-esteem. You will witness just how powerful it is to speak life over yourself.
